Late Sept. Recipe Roundup: Make the Scarpaccia!

Updated: Sep 27

The late summer, early fall produce dance is a great one to be a part of. Here in Texas, plants are thriving in these slowly cooling temps and are no longer struggling to just stay alive under the relentless 100-degree days.

Fall crops and dark leafy greens will slowly trickle their way in, but not before another big wave of high-quality warm-season crops like okra, cucumbers, and squash.

Don’t take these summer jewels for granted... they’ll be gone before you know it! Now is the time to make that sorta-involved zucchini recipe you’ve been eyeing all summer. I’m looking at you, Scarpaccia!

Happy cooking!
