Well, though I stated last week that we only take a pause one week a year...some things have changed... Unfortunately, due to some pest issues and other reasons, we are taking a pause for the next 3 weeks.
For Weekly Pickup Members:
To ensure a smooth transition, we'll automatically cancel your subscription after your billing for this week. You'll receive a direct email invitation on September 21st to sign up again for the fresh fall season.
Please sign up between September 21st and 26th to receive your first share on Saturday, September 28th. (The deadline for Sunday, September 29th and Monday, September 30th pickups is September 27th.)
We apologize for the inconvenience of having to sign up again. We're working within the limitations of our current billing system.
For Flexible Pickup Members:
Your existing share credits remain valid and can be used to book shares starting September 28th. If you have any concerns about your credits expiring, please don't hesitate to contact us at csa@vrdnt.farm

As we mentioned in a previous email, we're addressing a root-knot nematode issue that impacted some of our summer crops. For more info, see this week's blog.
The silver lining is that we have a bounty of fresh fall vegetables already thriving in other fields. We anticipate being back in full swing with arugula, radishes, bok choy, cucumbers, zucchini, basil, sweet potatoes, and more within the next 3-4 weeks.
